If you are facing repeated sand control failure or early screen plugging, it may not be a “well problem”… it may be a design mismatch.
To effectively mitigate sand leakage after screen installation, the design is developed based on detailed geological and reservoir characterization.
The completion adopts a multi-layer sand control structure consisting of a perforated base pipe as the inner support core, followed by an inner Johnson screen layer.
The annular space between the inner and outer screen layers is filled with engineered glass beads, which are precisely selected according to the screen slot size and formation particle distribution.
An outer Johnson screen layer is applied as an additional filtration and protection barrier, forming a dual-screen confinement system.
This configuration enables a controlled particle bridging mechanism, significantly improving fine sand retention while maintaining high flow capacity and structural stability under downhole conditions.
As a result, the system achieves highly efficient and stable sand control performance, representing an optimized design in advanced pre-packed screen technology.
