Product Description

Double layer well screens, also known as pipe based dual screens or reinforced screens, combine a perforated base pipe with an outer wire wrapped screen jacket into one reinforced structure. The 12 m screen is connected with centralizers in the middle section, keeping the double-layer structure concentric, stable and easy to run into the well. This design provides higher collapse strength than single-layer screens while retaining precise sand control, making it a reliable choice for deep water wells, oil wells, gas wells and vertical wells.

Structure And Manufacturing

The perforated base pipe provides the main mechanical strength, while the outer screen jacket performs the filtration. The two layers are connected with centralizers in the middle, and the jacket is formed by continuous resistance welding of V-shaped profile wires onto longitudinal support rods. Strict quality control checks perforation size, slot uniformity and weld integrity before delivery.

Packaging

Each finished screen is protected with bubble bag wrapping and reinforced with wooden boards to prevent damage to threads and the screen jacket during land or sea transportation. Custom lengths, diameters, slot sizes, materials and threads are available on request.
