Slotted casing pipes used in oil exploration can prevent 99% of sand particles, reduce well heavy maintenance by 80%, and increase well strength, sand control integrity, and stability. At the same time, laser cutting technology can make the notch smooth and precise. The structure of the slotted sleeve is a sample, but the work efficiency is high.

Slotted casing pipe processing is to use cold or hot processing methods on high-strength steel body to cut out hundreds of thousands of longitudinal cracks, cracks commonly used specifications: joint width 0.15 3 mm, or even wider, gap length 50-200 mm. The cross-section types are rectangular, trapezoidal, specific and various, and also have circular fluted screens with bore sizes ranging from 5 to 20 mm in meters. The cutting quality of the slotted screen hole seam mainly depends on the accuracy of the weld width, the neatness of the cross-sectional shape of the hole, the smoothness of the edge of the hole seam and the degree of corrosion resistance of the hole seam.

 

Straight Slots – Slot cuts in equal widths on the pipe wall, including ID and OD. Sand bridging at the notch is not very important, straight slots are more wear-resistant than jointed trapezoidal slots, and the production cost is lower. Common applications for straight slots cutting are cold production and CBM horizontal wells as well as SAGD injection wells.

 

 

Seamed Keystone Slots – Milled wider inside the pipe and has a self-cleaning feature to help prevent clogging. The liners have a narrower surface and an increased internal width, they allow incoming sand to easily pass through the slots without plugging.
