Q1: What is the advantage of the 1mm slot opening for water wells?
A: A 1mm slot is ideal for medium to coarse sand formations. It effectively retains sand and gravel while allowing high water flow, reducing sand pumping and well maintenance.

Q2: Why choose SS304 over other materials?
A: SS304 offers good corrosion resistance and cost-effectiveness for most fresh water and mild chemical environments. For high chloride or saline water, we recommend SS316L.

Q3: What are the welded end rings for?
A: The weld rings on both ends allow easy connection between multiple screen sections using couplings or welding on-site. They also protect the screen ends from damage during handling and installation.

Q4: Can you produce other slot sizes or diameters?
A: Yes. We custom manufacture slot openings from 0.10mm to 3.0mm, diameters from 50mm to 800mm, and lengths up to 6m per section. Contact us with your formation sand analysis.

Q5: How is the screen cleaned if it becomes clogged?
A: The V-wire design is self-cleaning – the slot widens outward so particles cannot wedge. If needed, backwashing, brushing, or chemical cleaning can restore performance.

Q6: What is the lead time for this 219mm x 3m screen?
A: Standard production lead time is 15–25 working days after order confirmation and drawing approval.

Packing & Shipping

Packaging:

• Each screen section is individually packed in bubble bags or woven bags.

• If threads are present, thread protectors are applied to both ends.

• Spray marking (labeling) can be done according to customer requirements (e.g., order number, dimensions, slot size).

Shipping:

• Suitable for sea freight, or truck transport.

• Sea freight: 20ft or 40ft containers. For 3m sections, screens can be stacked horizontally.

• For bulk orders, we optimize loading to minimize freight cost.

• Documents provided: Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, material test certificate, inspection report.
